Having qualified staff is to us one of the most important factors when it comes to Health and Safety in the workplace and quality control.
One of our Directors was a member of the National Working Group formed by industry and CSkills to determine the National Occupational Standards for the installation of Gas Membranes. From this he was then approached by CSkills to write the Specialist Apprenticeship Programme (SAP) and the Specialist Upskilling Programme (SUP) which is now administered by the British Geomembrane Association.
As a company we also held the first Specialist Upskilling Programme, a 5 day course at our training centre. Candidates are enrolled onto the programme through the BGA and on attendance are inducted and initially assessed for furtherance onto the NVQ Level 2 Qualification. This is carried out by our Qualified NVQ Assessor who is one of only two in the country.
We also deliver the awareness courses for Specifiers, Validators and Inspectors which is refered to in the latest Ciria document relating to Integrity Testing and Validation of gas membranes.
We have a policy of ensuring that all our On Site Technicians have obtained or are working towards NVQ Level 2 qualifications.
We also deliver in house Health, Safety and Welfare courses working closely with our Health and Safety Practitioner. Enquiries for enrolment on these courses and their availability can be requested by emailling firstname.lastname@example.org
You can rest assured that we have a workforce that are driven by Quality and Health and Safety in the workplace.
